Brentwood Cathedral

The Cathedral Church of St Mary and St Helen is a Roman Catholic Cathedral based in the heart of Brentwood.
Cardinal Hume dedicated the new Brentwood Cathedral on May 31st 1991, whilst the donors chose to remain anonymous. The architect Quinlan Terry was commissioned to build the new church in a classical style, where he took inspiration from the early Italian Renaissance crossed with the English baroque of Sir Christopher Wren.

The Cathedral Parish is linked with the Parish of Holy Cross and All Saints in Warley. Father Martin Boland is the Dean of the Cathedral and Parish Priest at Brentwood Cathedral and Holy Cross & All Saints.

Brentwood Cathedral regularly holds events for the whole family, including family fun days, flash mob choir, picnic days, vintage tea parties and parish quiz nights for the whole community to join!
