Alec’s Restaurant Bar & Grill sets out to provide simple, quality fresh food.
Owned by restauranteur Alec Smith, formerly of Smiths Brasserie and Chariot Restaurant Group. Alec has lovingly restored the former Green Man Public House, a prominent landmark in the local community, with flair and passion.
The restaurant is named in memory of Alec’s late father who was a great influence on his career, and his grandfather, a fish porter at Billingsgate Market. Both can be found on the walls throughout the restaurant, keeping a watchful eye!

Head Chef, Stephen Li, with whom Alec has collaborated on previous ventures brings his knowledge and expertise from the most dynamic of kitchens. Although predominantly a seafood restaurant serving the finest fish and shellfish, mouth watering meat dishes add to this impressive menu.
