Area Guide

Whether you live in the area or are thinking of moving, Next Chapter's area guide has been specifically designed to provide you with lots of useful information.

Put the kettle on and take a wander around - enjoy our stunning photos, a little bit of local history, information on local schools, and things to do when you're out and about - and if there's anything you'd like to know that we haven't covered, give us a call on 01277 500 396 and we'll do our very best to help.

A Quick Note: The schools we have listed are purely for your information and it does not necessarily mean that this school falls within the catchment area, we recommend contacting the school directly to find out this information.

Hutton is not to be confused with Hutton Mount!

Hutton's closest station is Shenfield which gets you to London Liverpool Street in approximately 25 minutes! Some great news is that you tend to get a little more for your money in Hutton and still have the advantage of being close to some great schools -  including the well known St Martins Secondary & Sixth Form School.

If you want to be close to Shenfield station and can’t afford a property in Central Shenfield or Hutton Mount, then check out Hutton!

If you’re thinking of selling or buying in Hutton, be sure to get in touch!

Hutton Country Park is a local nature reserve, great for relaxing and even a spot of bird watching!

Hutton Poplars first opened in 1905 and was used to house orphans from the district of Poplar in East London. It was so successful that  it earned a royal visit in 1918!  Most of the original sites have been demolished but one still stands - Hutton Poplars Hall - which is now used a Wedding Venue!
